What We Do

We are a victim advocacy center, we help provide resources and empower victims to take back control of their lives. We help victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Stalking, Elder Abuse/Persons with Disabilities, Human Trafficking, and Teen Dating Violence.

We are NOT mandatory reporters. We cannot report anything you tell us without a Release of Information (ROI) from you. You are protected under the VAWA confidentiality laws. If law enforcement asks us for information we CANNOT give them any information about you or what services you received. We never disclose any information you give us, or that you have even been to the Crisis Center. What is said here, stays here.

  • 24-hour crisis line: 541-947-2449 or 800-338-7590  If you are in danger, call 911!
  • Safety Planning: We listen carefully to your story and we work with you to create a plan for your physical and emotional safety.
  • Victim/Personal Advocacy.
  • Referrals to community partners including immigration services.
  • Restraining Order: We provide assistance with filling out restraining orders, we can accompany you to circuit court to file it and stay with you during the hearings. However, we cannot speak on your behalf or provide legal advice. 
  • Referral to Legal Aid Services of Oregon (LASO).
  • Medical/Hospital Accompaniment
  • Court Accompaniment
  • Community Education/Outreach
  • Emergency Shelter: We may provide temporary emergency shelter under certain circumstances.
  • Transportation: We can arrange transportation to a safe location when necessary. (During the winter months long distance travel may be unavailable).
  • Crisis and Peer Support
  • Bilingual Advocacy: English, Spanish, and other languages
  • Address Confidentiality Program (ACP)
  • Crime Victims Compensation Program (CVCP)
  • DHS Co-located Services

We currently do not have a shelter in our service area. Clients that are in need of immediate long term shelter will be referred to Klamath County. However, when funds are available we may be able to place clients in a hotel for a night. The client must fall under our grant funders required need of service before we can shelter you.
